DESCRIPTION:About this Session\nDuring the seminar\, participants will have the opportunity to experience a variety of interactive scenarios that will help you build the confidence needed to perform CPR and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).Upon successful completion of the seminar\, attendees will be certified to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). \nLearning Objectives\nBy the end of the seminar\, participants will be able to: \n\nRecognize the signs of a cardiac emergency\nApproach a person safely\nAssess a collapsed victim\nCheck the victim’s responsiveness\nOpen the airway\nDetermine whether the victim is breathing\nCall emergency services effectively (112 | 166)\nPerform high-quality chest compressions\nAdminister oxygen using an AMBU bag (optional)\nUse an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)\nRespond to choking incidents caused by foreign objects\nPlace an unconscious victim in the recovery position\nManage a drowning victim\nProvide assistance to a child under 8 years old\nLearn through hands-on experience and realistic scenarios\n\nAdditional Information\n\nDuration: 6 hours\nSuitable for: Selected Departmental Managers\nIncludes: Participant handbook (in Greek)\nAssessment: Optional evaluation test available in English\nCertification: Internationally recognized certification valid for 3 years\, issued by the European Resuscitation Council (ERC)
