About this Session

This D2D training session aims to equip employees with a foundational understanding of safeguarding practices to ensure a safe, inclusive, and protective environment for children and vulnerable adults.

Safeguarding is a shared responsibility. Sani/Ikos is committed to equality, fairness, and inclusion, and will always strive to work collaboratively with parents, carers, and relevant professionals to ensure that every individual can participate in activities that are safe and suited to their needs and abilities.

🎯 Learning Objectives

By the end of the session, the participants will be able to:

  • Identify the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and deputies, and understand their roles.
  • Describe their own responsibilities in safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.
  • Recognise the importance of creating and maintaining a safe environment for all guests, especially children and adults at risk.
  • Take appropriate action when responding to a safeguarding concern or disclosure.
  • Understand how to support someone who raises a concern or makes a disclosure.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and respect across all departments at Sani/Ikos.

🎓 Target Audience

All seasonal employees of Operations who are confident to interact with families and toddlers in English and work at Sani/Ikos Resorts.
