Eleni Andreadis | ESG Senior Director Sani/Ikos Group
Eleni Andreadis is a sustainability specialist, author and the Senior Director of Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility at the Sani/Ikos Group. She specialized in environmental policy at Harvard University, and worked as a strategic and environmental consultant in Greece, the U.S. and the U.K. prior to joining SIG in 2008.
Her team oversees the award-winning Sani Green and Ikos Green programmes, under which Sani Resort became the first carbon neutral resort in Greece, powered by 100% renewable electricity, and has been awarded the World’s Leading Luxury Green Resort at the World Travel Awards 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023, the first resort in the history of the awards to earn the accolade four consecutive years in a row. Under Ikos Green, Ikos Resorts is also carbon neutral and has won international praise for its sustainability initiatives, including pioneering a zero-waste programme at Ikos Dassia in Corfu.
Eleni is also the author of eleven environmental books for children and young adults, which have been translated into six languages, and the recipient of the Literary State Prize in Greece. She has founded Planet Agents, a non-profit organisation that has delivered environmental programmes across the country for over 100,000 children in the last fifteen years and been awarded by the Ministry of Education for its innovation. She is a member of the Leadership Council for the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Program’s (UN SDSN).
